This page is my trip to Puu Ualakaa State Park. It begins at the entrance to Punch Bowl National  memorial Cemetery. When you get to the entrance road to Punch Bowl, instead of turning right you go straight. The road heads up the mountain side.
As you start up the road it turns into a tropical rain forest. At almost every turn you get a tremendous view of Honolulu. After you go over the summit and start down the other side you'll come across Puu Ualakaa park. The view from here is indescribable.
If you come to Hawaii this is a must see.
